The Wendish Museum in Cottbus is the central museum for the culture and history of the Sorbs/Wends in Lower Lusatia. It houses the largest collection of Lower Sorbian costumes, including many from the Spreewald region. The museum was founded in 1908 and opened its doors on June 3, 1994.
