The memorial for the victims of the December 21, 1882 mining accident at Fürst Hardenberg colliery was erected in 1883. This stone obelisk, standing three meters tall, bears an inscription dedicated to the miners who perished in the accident. It was established by the union of the Vereinigte Stein & Hardenberg colliery.
