The memorial stone for the Stalag VI D POW camp in Dortmund commemorates the thousands of prisoners from various countries held between 1939 and 1945 in the Westfalenhalle and nearby barracks. Erected in 2007, this sandstone monument bears the inscription: 'Reminder and remembrance from 1939 to 1945'. Standing 2.7 meters tall, it serves as a silent witness to the past.
