The plaque for Fritz Henßler commemorates the Social Democratic resistance center in Dortmund from 1933 to 1936 against the Nazi regime. Installed in 1985 in the former Ella Henssler library, where Henßler was active until his arrest in 1936, the marble plaque bears an inscription recalling his resistance activities and subsequent imprisonment.
