Opened in September 2002, the Dortmund Concert Hall seats 1,550 guests and boasts an ideal reverberation time of two seconds. Designed by architect Ralf Schulte-Ladbeck, its acoustics are comparable to the renowned Vienna Musikverein. Raphael von Hoensbroech has been the director since the 2018/19 season.
