The Artesian Well at Dresden's Albertplatz is an artistic ensemble featuring a well house, a drinking fountain, and a fountain with a water basin. Drilled by Freiberg miners between 1832 and 1836, the well captivates with its architectural design. Although it never fully succeeded in supplying water to the Neustadt district, it remains an important cultural monument in Saxony.
