You're standing on the grounds of what was once the Outer Matthäus Cemetery. Originally a Lutheran cemetery, this site holds memories of the many lives that found rest here. You might notice the tranquil atmosphere created by the trees and pathways surrounding you. If you look around, you'll see the proximity to the New Catholic Cemetery, just 337 meters to the west.
