The Saugartenmoor is a protected natural monument and one of the last remaining bogs in Dresden's forest. It features extensive floating grass zones, making it a rare type of bog in Saxony. Spanning 75 meters in length and 60 meters in width, it rests in a granodiorite depression of the Lusatian Plateau.
