The Peter von Cornelius Monument in Düsseldorf honors painter Peter von Cornelius, the first director of the Royal Prussian Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf. Designed by sculptor Adolf von Donndorf, it was inaugurated on June 24, 1879. It stands prominently at Königsallee and Corneliusplatz.
