Guided Story
Feel that breeze coming off the Rhine? Imagine it filling the sails of ships that have passed by for centuries. Look up at the castle tower! Did you know this was once the residence of the Dukes of Berg? Picture them watching the river traffic from this very spot. Behind you, the riverfront marked the start of one of Europe's major trade routes. Inside the museum, you'll see models and artifacts telling tales of captains who braved storms and fog. Check out the old navigation tools used on board. It's amazing how such small devices could decide the fate of large vessels, isn't it?
