Guided Story

Imagine standing here in the 18th century, with the von Spee family calling this magnificent castle home. Look around you: the walls still echo with the life of this noble family who lived here for generations. To your right, the English landscape garden stretches out, meticulously designed to highlight the natural beauty of the area. Behind you, the Angerbach flows gently, once powering the mills in the park. Although the mills no longer turn, you can almost hear their hum in the air. Take a stroll through Heltorf Park, feel the history beneath your feet, and let the tranquility envelop you. It's as if the whispers of the past are carried along the gentle current of the stream.
