In front of you is the Archive for Alternative Literature. Founded in 1985, it has grown to become a significant research center. Following a relocation, the archive reopened in 2017 in this modern building. It provides access to a diverse range of freely available documents and materials. If you turn around, you might spot the Triton Fountain just 62 meters to the east. A bit further, to the northeast, you'll find the historic Duisburg Town Hall. This archive is an integral part of the cultural fabric of the city.
