In front of you stands the synagogue, designed by architect Zvi Hecker. It was inaugurated on February 21, 1999, and serves as the spiritual center for the Jewish community of Duisburg-Mülheim/Ruhr-Oberhausen. The sleek, modern architecture reflects both tradition and renewal. To your left, a short distance away, is the Garden of Remembrance, a peaceful spot inviting contemplation. Turning around, you can see the Marina Duisburg, about 150 meters northwest. This synagogue is not just a place of worship but a vital cultural hub for over 2,800 members.
