Prometheus

In front of you is the sculpture of Prometheus, created by Heinrich Kirchner in 1970. This artwork honors the mythical titan who brought fire to humanity. If you look around, you might notice the Burgberggarten roughly 36 meters to the northwest. There's also the 1891 water reservoir about 102 meters in the same direction. The sculpture itself is not only significant in size, but also in its symbolic meaning. Take a moment to appreciate the intricate details and Kirchner's artistic signature. Standing here, you can also sense the cultural pulse of the area, just a short walk west to the Bergkirchweih.
