This pond was created in the early 19th century and is one of three water bodies in the Wallanlagen, alongside the Rechneigrabenweiher and the Albert-Mangelsdorff-Weiher. Look around you and you'll notice you're in the midst of a green belt of parks encircling downtown Frankfurt. Just 40 meters northeast, you'll find the Bethmann Memorial. It's a peaceful spot where you can escape the city's hustle and bustle.
