Opened in 1999, the Frankfurt am Main Airport Long Distance Train Station is a major transport hub located north of Frankfurt Airport. Designed as a complement to the existing regional station, it serves approximately 23,000 travelers daily. The station was developed as part of the high-speed rail line Cologne–Rhine/Main, which began operations in 2002. The station is operated by DB InfraGO.
