Guided Story

Imagine standing at a place that once served as the gateway to the world. To your left, the Iron Bridge, a path full of stories, connecting the city for centuries. Now, look up at the top of the Rententurm. This late Gothic tower was part of the city’s fortifications, securing the crucial city gate of Frankfurt. Behind you, you’ll find the Wertheym House, one of the few original half-timbered houses remaining in the city. Picture the bustling activity of traders and travelers passing through here long ago. Especially in spring, when the sun makes the Main River sparkle, you can feel the whisper of history in the air.
