Covering 58.5 hectares, the Schwanheimer Düne is a striking inland dune located in the western part of Frankfurt-Schwanheim. Designated as a nature reserve since 1984, it has been protected under the EU Fauna-Flora-Habitat Directive since 2003. This area provides a green retreat near the Höchst Industrial Park.
