Did you know?

Despite being the largest and most visited green space in Frankfurt am Main at 168 hectares, the Volkspark Niddatal is only the city's second largest green area after the Frankfurt City Forest.

Guided Story

Feel that gentle breeze coming from the river? That's the Nidda, flowing quietly to the north. On a calm day, you can hear the soft ripple of the water merging with the birdsong around you. Take a look around and notice how the landscape transforms with the seasons. In the spring, the park bursts into a riot of colors with blooming flowers and trees. Did you know this park was once part of a major garden show? The spirit of that event still lingers, making it a haven for relaxation and inspiration. If you look to your right, you'll find one of the many open fields, perfect for a picnic or just to let your mind wander.
