Inaugurated in 1910, the Westend Synagogue stands as Frankfurt's largest Jewish house of worship, showcasing Art Nouveau architecture by Franz Roeckle. It was the only major synagogue in the city to survive the November Pogroms of 1938 and World War II, albeit severely damaged. After a temporary renovation in 1950, it was faithfully restored between 1989 and 1994, now shining as a cultural heritage monument.
