Eisenjoch eines Zyklotronmagneten

The iron yoke of a cyclotron magnet commemorates the significant contributions of the Second Physics Institute in Göttingen. In operation from 1962 to 1998, the cyclotron's magnet weighed approximately 250 tons and produced a magnetic flux density of 1.4 Tesla.
