Naturschutzgebiet Henkhauser- und Hasselbachtal

Welcome to the Henkhauser and Hasselbachtal Nature Reserve. Here, you'll find a remarkable network of streams that was protected as a reserve in 1992. Look around: towering alders and ash trees dominate the scenery, providing habitats for a diverse range of species. To the east, you can see where the streams converge in a sprawling oak forest. To the north, dry grasslands and wet meadows add variety to the landscape, supporting different types of vegetation. Behind you, about 813 meters to the west, stands the Reher Galgen, a historic landmark that highlights the connection between nature and history in this area.
