Guided Story
Can you feel the tranquility here? As you sit on this bench, close your eyes and imagine Joseph von Eichendorff possibly doing the same in his time. Behind you rise the striking Klausberge, a favorite retreat even in Eichendorff's day. Look to your left, and in the distance, you might just make out the outline of the Petruskirche, keeping watch over the city for centuries. It's said that Eichendorff often roamed these landscapes, finding inspiration in the serene beauty and peace they offered. Perhaps right here, he crafted the lines of one of his poems in his mind. This spot is a silent witness to the past, full of stories waiting to be uncovered.
