Right here in front of you is the Astronomical Station Johannes Kepler, located in the Kanena district. Not just any planetarium, this is a listed observatory, operated since 1998 by the non-profit association Astronomische Station Johannes Kepler Kanena e.V. Their mission is to nurture and promote the science of astronomy. Just 51 meters to the west, you’ll find the St. Stephanus Church, adding to the historical charm of Kanena.
