The Red Tower is a remarkable historic structure in the heart of Halle (Saale) and part of the city's iconic skyline. Alongside the four towers of the Marktkirche Unser Lieben Frauen, it gives Halle the nickname 'City of Five Towers'. Despite being damaged in 1945, it now houses Europe's largest carillon, the 'Europa-Carillon'.
