Standing here at Bergstedt Church, you're in front of one of the oldest church buildings in the Hamburg area. Designed by Walter Ahrendt, its Gothic architecture is quite striking. Take a moment to appreciate the remarkable artworks housed within. This church is recognized as a heritage monument, playing a significant role in the Wandsbek district. Originally, it was part of Stormarn until it became part of Hamburg through the Greater Hamburg Act. Just southeast, you'll notice the memorial for the victims of the Sasel concentration camp subcamp.
