Since 1935, Blankeneser Kino has been offering a unique arthouse cinema experience right here on Blankeneser Bahnhofstraße. As one of the few remaining suburban cinemas in Hamburg, it has survived the turbulent times of cinema closures since the 1970s. If you take a look at the facade, you can feel the history and charm embedded in every corner of this cinema. Managed by seasoned cinema operator Hans-Peter Jansen, the cinema features a thoughtfully curated film selection. To your left, a bit further down the street, you'll find the Blankenese Gymnasium.
