It's operated by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Remember, it's open on weekends between April and October, as well as in February, March, and November. You can visit on Saturdays from twelve to four PM, and on Sundays from ten AM to four PM. It's a great chance to learn about the region's diverse flora and fauna.
