Imagine standing on a bridge that once served as the main gateway to one of the world's most significant warehouse districts. Look down at the Zollkanal and imagine ships bustling with goods from around the globe over a century ago. Behind you to the west, the Speicherstadt rises, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with tales of trade and innovation. To your left, you can see the Miniatur Wunderland, attracting visitors worldwide today. But back to the bridge itself: Did you know that Emperor Wilhelm II personally placed the final stone here?
