On your left, the fields stretch out, where countless athletes have trained over the years. Just behind you, a short walk away, stands the War Memorial from 1914–18, quietly observing the passage of time. If you look to the east, you'll spot the towering trees of Liliencron Park, which have witnessed many competitions.
