Schilleroper

You're standing before one of the most intriguing structures in Hamburg's St. Pauli district. The Schilleroper, a listed circus-theater, stands six meters tall, embodying its unique architectural style. Initially conceived as a circus theater, it's a rare gem in Germany's architectural landscape. Although currently unoccupied, its presence tells a story of its vibrant past. As you look around, you'll notice it has lent its name to the street Bei der Schilleroper. Just 188 meters to the northeast, you can find the Stolpersteine at Neuer Pferdemarkt, a poignant reminder of another piece of history.
