Guided Story

Imagine standing here, surrounded by history dating back nearly 150 years. Look around and notice the solid walls that once housed Prussian soldiers. These walls could tell stories of disciplined drills and daily life in a barracks. After World War I, the police took over the site. If you listen closely, you might still hear the echo of boots on the cobblestones. Behind you, in the distance, is the August-Lütgens-Park, a serene contrast to the stern architecture of the barracks. Further east, Wohlers Park offers a green escape after exploring the history of this site.
