Designated in 1988, the Gallberg Nature Reserve is nestled in the Wiescherhöfen district of Hamm-Pelkum. Bordered by a railway line to the northwest and partly by the Wiescher Bach to the southwest, it is surrounded by the quaint suburbs of Wiescherhöfen, Lohauserholz, and Selmigerheide.
