Französische Allee

You're standing on the Französische Allee, one of the most significant squares in Hanau's Neustadt. Contrary to what its name might suggest, this isn't a traditional avenue but rather an expansive square. Look around and you'll notice how the Französische Allee provides a striking backdrop for the nearby Walloon-Dutch double church, which is just 33 meters to the southeast. To the north, you can find some of the city's other historical and cultural landmarks, like the Brothers Grimm national monument and the Neustadt town hall.
