Guided Story

Imagine standing in a neighborhood that began as an ecological dream nearly forty years ago. Look around, do you see the lush greenery on the rooftops? These grass roofs aren’t just for show. They naturally insulate the houses and provide a habitat for birds and insects. The proximity to the nearby Waldorf school is no accident. To the west, where the St. Nicolai Church is, students helped construct this settlement. Here, education and architecture blend in a unique way. Walking through these streets is like glimpsing into a future that started back in the 1980s.
