The Leibniztempel in Hannover's Georgengarten was constructed between 1787 and 1790 to honor the polymath Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz. This open sandstone pavilion features twelve Ionic columns and bears the inscription 'Genio Leibnitii' in gilded letters.
