Can you feel the fresh breeze coming from the Mittelland Canal? Imagine being here in the 1930s, when the Lister Bad first opened and people flocked here to cool off. Look to your left, across the canal – that's where List begins, but did you know the pool is actually in Vahrenheide? Fascinatingly, this district didn't even exist when the pool was built! Turn around and you'll see the diving facility, which has witnessed countless daring dives and cannonballs. Here's a tip: after a refreshing swim, take a stroll to the Kaiserbrücke, just west of you. It offers a wonderful view of the canal and the surrounding nature – perfect for a little break.
