The Mergelgrube, part of the Natura 2000 network, has been providing an essential sanctuary for numerous plant and animal species since its establishment in 2004. Take a moment to soak in the serenity of this retreat. You might spot some of the rare species that find refuge here. Looking northwest, about 905 meters away, you can see the St.-Johannis Church.
