Established in 1970, the Revierpark Gysenberg covers 31 hectares and offers a wide range of leisure activities. It is managed by the Revierpark Gysenberg Herne GmbH, co-owned by the city of Herne and the Regionalverband Ruhr. This was the first park of its kind in the Ruhr area.
