The former Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial in Hildesheim was an equestrian statue honoring Emperor Wilhelm I. It stood at the northern end of Sedanstraße and was made of stone. Today, only the stone stele remains as a point of remembrance.

Here, you're at the site where the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial once stood in Hildesheim. Originally, an equestrian statue honored Emperor Wilhelm I at this northern end of Sedanstraße. Now, only the stone stele remains as a reminder. Look south along the straight path of Sedanstraße, which used to lead directly to the monument. To the west, about 164 meters away, is the Goethegymnasium. This stele serves as a quiet witness to the past, reflecting on the city's history and its changing times.
