You're standing before the Kehrwiederturm, the last remaining tower of Hildesheim's former city fortifications. Rising to 30 meters, it offers a glimpse into the medieval architecture that once dominated this region. To your southwest, you'll notice the Hildesheimer Synagogue Memorial, and just northwest, the Neisser Heimatmuseum awaits exploration. Positioned on Keßlerstraße, this tower speaks volumes of the city's fortified past. It's a piece of history you can almost touch.
