As you stand here on Andreasplatz, the Pfeilerhaus is right in front of you. Originally built in 1623, this timber-framed house is a testament to Hildesheim's rich history. Although it was destroyed in 1945, the structure you see today was rebuilt between 1953 and 1954, echoing the essence of its predecessor. To the east, you'll notice the Upside-Down Sugarloaf, another intriguing landmark. The timber-frame design of the Pfeilerhaus adds a special historical charm to the area, something you can surely feel.
