Guided Story
Imagine standing here back in 1390, surrounded by the newly expanded city walls of Ingolstadt. This tower, the Taschenturm, served as a secondary gate. Look up. Those unique roof pockets give the tower its name. To your left, you'd catch a glimpse of the Deutsches Medizinhistorisches Museum, a place full of tales about the history of medicine. Turn slightly to your right, and in the distance, you can see the impressive towers of the Liebfrauenmünster. Early evening is the perfect time to be here, with the sun setting and casting a golden glow over the town. Can you feel the history whispering through the air as you gaze over the rooftops?
