You're standing in a unique part of Jena, the Frommann Sculpture Garden. Since 2012, this garden has hosted an annual contemporary art exhibition during the summer months. This initiative was brought to life by Verena Krieger from the Art History Department at the Friedrich Schiller University. Look around you, this historic site was a popular meeting place for writers and philosophers around 1800. To the southwest, you can spot the Fritz Reuter Monument.
