The Wimmelbrunnen, also known as the Wimmel-Denkmal, is a stone obelisk located in Kassel's Fürstengarten. Designed by Kassel sculptor Karl Begas, this unification monument was inaugurated on May 10, 1898, to commemorate Germany's unification in 1871. It is named after its benefactors who funded its construction.
