Once known as Christianspries Fortress, Friedrichsort Fortress is a historic Danish sea fortress located on the western shore of the Kiel Fjord. Positioned at the fjord's narrowest point near the entrance to the Kiel Canal, it is protected as a historic monument and marks its capture in 1643.
