The Holtenauer Hochbrücken connect the Kiel districts of Wik and Holtenau across the Kiel Canal. The western bridge, the 1996 Prinz-Heinrich-Brücke, and the eastern 1972 Olympia Bridge offer a clearance height of 42 meters for ships and are part of Federal Highway 503. A parking area near the Olympia Bridge allows visitors to watch the passing ships.
