The Küstenkraftwerk Kiel is a state-of-the-art gas engine power plant operational since November 2019. Featuring 20 individually adjustable gas engines, it provides 190 MW of electrical and 192 MW of thermal output, serving approximately 70,000 customers. Built for Stadtwerke Kiel, it replaces the former Gemeinschaftskraftwerk Kiel.
