The memorial plaque for Ludwig Goedecke, affectionately known as 'Uncle Ludwig', commemorates his service as a park warden in Kiel from 1946 to 1967. Erected on December 23, 1967, it was donated by grateful citizens of Kiel and crafted in bronze by the artist Waldemar Gerwin-Cranz. The inscription honors his many good deeds.
