As you wander through Schützenpark, you might notice it runs parallel to the Schützenwall. This green oasis, founded in 1903, stretches for a kilometer, offering a peaceful retreat in the city. The 6.2-hectare area is divided into four sections by Harmsstraße, Gellertstraße, and Hermann-Weigmann-Straße. Take a look around, and you'll see a large pond, perfect for a moment of relaxation. Behind you, at the southwestern end, there are play and sunbathing areas, great for a break or a picnic. Nearby, about 108 meters to the west, is the Käthe-Kollwitz-Schule, while just a bit further south is the JVA Kiel.
